Shift all timings
Resync with two anchor points
Pick two cues and say when each should start; the whole file is stretched to fit. Fixes a frame-rate mismatch or a drift that grows through the file. Times as 01:02:03.400, 2:03, or plain seconds.
Merge with another file
Split at a time
Convert SRT to VTT, or VTT to SRT
The two download buttons above write the current cues in either format. Tags only WebVTT players understand (<v>, <c>) were dropped when the file was read; <i>, <b> and <u> are kept.
How it works
- Shift. Move every cue earlier or later by the same amount.
- Resync. Two anchor points (the cue now at 0:12 should start at 0:10, the one at 1:30:00 at 1:28:40) stretch the whole file linearly. That fixes a frame-rate mismatch (23.976 against 25 fps drifts about four seconds a minute) and a constant offset in one step.
- Merge and split. Join a second file after the first or at an offset; or cut one file at a time, the second half starting from zero.
- Convert. Download the result as SRT or VTT. The reader takes both, with a BOM, CRLF line ends, missing hours, cue settings and voice tags handled.
Everything on this page runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Other tools
- Subtitles that are stuck in the picture, taken out, translated, and put back. Upload a video with burned-in subtitles. The service reads them off the frames, gives you an editable SRT/VTT, translates it, and renders a new video with the translation burned in.
- Translate an SRT or VTT subtitle file Upload an .srt or .vtt file, check the cues, translate them into other languages and download one subtitle file per language. Timing is kept exactly.
- Burn an SRT or VTT file into a video Upload a video and the .srt or .vtt file you already have, and download an MP4 with the subtitles burned in (hardcoded). Optional box to cover old subtitles, font size, translation into other languages.
